“There just isn’t enough time in the day!”

“I can’t enjoy my time off away from work – I am constantly stressed!”

If you find yourself stressed outside of work, then you are not alone. I recently wrote an article that talked about this growing issue. I also shared a calculator that can help you determine how much your time is worth outside of work.

While most people encounter stress outside of work, a big chunk of this stress can be avoided simply by outsourcing it.

Outsource my stress!  Where do I sign up?

The formula is pretty straightforward:

Outsourcing your stress/responsibilities outside of work = greater happiness. This is what a recent article in the NY Times highlighted.

A recent study in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences found that “spending money to save time may reduce stress about the limited time in the day, thereby improving happiness.”

“If there’s some task that just thinking about it fills you with dread, then it’s probably worth considering whether you can afford to buy your way out of it,” said Elizabeth Dunn, a professor of psychology at the University of British Columbia and an author of the paper.

Think about the term outsourcing in the business realm for a moment. Smart companies will outsource tasks they shouldn’t be focused on so they can invest more in their core competencies to grow. Not only is this how a successful business grows, but it is also how everyone within the business can stay sane.

Why not take the same business approach and apply to your personal life?

Outsourcing isn’t just limited to business. You can outsource many of your responsibilities outside of work to help you avoid unnecessary stress, increase your happiness, and stay sane.

In this day and age, outsourcing your stress is the only way to go. You only have so much time in the day, and spending your limited spare time on responsibilities outside of work is a recipe for disaster!

What can be outsourced?

There’s a whole list of things you can outsource to avoid unnecessary stress. I will share some of the common responsibilities below to consider outsourcing:

  • House cleaning

  • Paying bills

  • Laundry

  • Dry cleaning

  • Taking vehicles in for servicing

  • Waiting for contractors to show up

  • Grocery shopping

  • Travel itineraries

  • Booking reservations

Ever hear of a part-time (on-demand) personal assistant?

Everything is on-demand these days. You have apps available to you on-demand, transportation services and food delivery available to you on-demand, and so much more.

Well, now you have personal assistants available to you on-demand as well!

You heard it right. Whenever you need to outsource your stress outside of work, your personal on-demand part-time personal assistant is there. You basically take the weight of stress off your shoulder and transfer it over – almost like doing a balance transfer.

No more thinking you need to hire a full-time assistant to handle your affairs. You simply pay a flat monthly part-time fee to have a trusted personal assistant ready to take on your stress so you can enjoy more leisure.

Your part-time personal assistant will even work with you to determine what can be outsourced, and provide an estimated calculation of how much time you will free up as a result.

If you find yourself to be stressed outside of work, then now is the time to consider outsourcing some of your stress so you can truly enjoy the life you deserve.

Stop stressing and start living.
